The Fat Bottom Bass pickups are direct P and J style replacements. Fat Tone starts with a high quality Fiberboard Bobbin, then wind with Era Correct Enamel 42 wire and use only the highest quality Sand Casted Alnico 5 Rod magnets and Vintage Black and White Cloth Leads. They offer the Fat Bottom Bass pickups in Vintage and Super output levels. Believe it or not, the Fat Bottom Bass Pickups have very low hum and noise compared to most single coil pickups.
