Barrington BGW-400 Jazz Archtop Electric Guitar Vintage 1989 Natural

Here is a Rare find!

These Barrington models were built in the 80s at the famed Matsumoku factory in Japan.

This one is the classic dual humbucker Jazz archtop style 24 3/4" scale and 1 11/16 nut width

It features a unique laterally glued multipiece neck that makes it very rigid and straight, perfect Id imagine for someone who wanted little shift while using heavier strings perhaps.

This guitar has a beautiful flamed maple body and spruce top.

It shows only mild, honest evidence of wear...nothing concerning. No repairs done or needed.

The previous owner had a bone nut installed with the slots cut for extreme light playing. I prefer it a bit higher myself, so what I'll offer the next owner is this....If you have a light touch youll likely love the setup...if you are more aggressive, I'll cut you a new bone nut.

The pickups dont appear to be 'original' (for what thats worth). They sound and work fine, but the patina looks different between them. Regardless, most players who would want this will likely want an upgrade set in there anyways.
