Martin Grand Ole Opry 75th Anniversary 1 of 650 Commemorative HD-28 2000 w Case

To celebrate both the new Millenium but also the 75th anniversary of the Famous WSM radio program the "Grand Ole Opry" Martin made a limited release of this special Guitar

It is essentially an HD-28, but has a custom White fretboard with 'Grand Ole Opry' (inlaid in red pearloid) on the fretboard to approximate the look of the iconic Microphone stands used on the program. The headstock completes the look by 'finishing' the theme with a beautiful Microphone inlaid in pearl on the headstock.

The beautiful inner label is hand signed by CF Martin and numbered 1 to 650 (This one is in the 500 range) and features a picture of the theatre that was the home of the Opry for many generations

The neck block is also laser engraved with the model designation

This guitar is in very clean shape, showing no major dings, scratches or flaws. The previous owner did play it, but took care to not make careless marks.

The guitar has nice action, and is setup comfortably, with the nut cut low to accommodate a light touch.

The original price tag and paperwork is included, as is the original molded factory hardshell case
