Washburn J6s Archtop Hollowbody 1993 "Wes Montgomery" Natural

Here is a very cool archtop guitar from the early 90s

These Washburn J6s models were affectionately called the 'Wes Montgomery' model although I dont know if there was an actual endorsement deal in place

Beautifully flamed maple on the back and sides and Spruce top on this variant.

The guitar shows signs of age, there are finish cracks that have been filled and wet sanded on the top, but also on the edge of the fretboard on the players side. This isnt structural, just finish issues that were addressed.

The previous owner was a 'hot rodder'. He removed the tailpiece and added a costly genuine Bigsby vibrato unit in gold! Additionally he added gold Grover rotomatic tuners and too the original pickups out and put in some 3rd party brand that has an interesting pole piece layout
